Colorado summers are something magical and nothing is better than grabbing a nice cold beer after a day hike or park visit and the folks at the Denver Beer Co. are well aware. Located right off the Platte River this craft beer institution offers a variety of styles that is sure to fit everyone's preferred flavor profile accompanied by the perfect dog friendly patio, fashioned with string lights, and an awesome view of the city.
Bigsby’s Folly Winery & Restaurant
Bigsby the Golden Retriever is the signature for this Denver winery and bar, and you’ll see his sweet face everywhere, from wine glasses and wine labels to the venue’s glowing neon sign. It goes without saying this cozy tasting room is dog-friendly. Bring your best dog, belly up for a tasting, and don’t forget to ask about the folly Bigsby committed that inspired the venue’s name.

This family owned brewery located right outside of Denver in the quaint town of Broomfield, CO is the place for you and your dog if you are looking for something away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The spacious outdoor patio is the perfect place to kick back on a weekend afternoon, grab some yummy food from one of the rotating food trucks, and just hang out.
Where to Go
One of Colorado’s most renowned destinations, known for its picturesque scenery, epic hiking, and iconic live concerts, Red Rocks State Park is a must-do with your dog when in Denver. Red Rocks offers multiple pet-friendly trails, paved and unpaved, providing adventures for you and the pup (note: pets must be leashed at all times). Located just 10 miles west of downtown you can crank up the tunes and explore!
15 minutes from downtown Denver, this sprawling, natural area offers opportunities to hike, swim, cycle, camp, explore, and more. For dog owners, a fenced, off-leash 107-acre dog park is a great place to play and exercise; plenty of trails and even a dog swim area will keep your furry friend busy while you enjoy the natural beauty which is never hard to escape when visiting Denver.
Westminster Hills Dog Park

Before or after your trip to Four Noses you can visit the incredible 420-acre off leash dog park fitted with trails and breathtaking views of the mountains. Similar to the Cherry Creek State Park this open space is equipped for all of your outdoor needs. With areas to play, trails to walk, and rivers to play in, your dog is going to have the time of their life while you take in the spectacular scenery. Seriously, this picture does not do it justice.
